The 897-010 PVC Schedule 80 Union is a 1" SLIP x 1" SLIP union which links two lengths of PVC. This union features a Viton o-ring to ensure a leak free operation. The 897-010 has a maximum temperature rating of 140°F and is ideal for industrial and commercial applications. The schedule 80 union has smooth interior walls to maintain a lower pressure loss and higher volume than metal fittings. These fittings never rust and provide extended system life. They are lead free and made for use with potable water.
