Pentek CW-F String Wound Polypropylene 10 mic Filter

For whole house applications, the Pentek® Polypropylene String Wound filters are economically priced general purpose filter designed for sediment reduction including sand, silt, scale and rust particles and ideal for well water applications. 
Application: 
CW and WP Series cartridges are manufactured from a durable polypropylene cord that is wound around a rigid polypropylene core. They are an economical solution to reduce fine sediment, including sand, silt, rust and scale particles. CW and WP Series cartridges are suitable for a wide variety of sediment filtration applications, including municipal and well water as well as many industrial fluids.

Please note that the Pentek CW-F is a 10 micron filter and the W5W is actually a 5 micron filter, but the two filters are interchangeable.
