Reverse Osmosis Tank Maintenance & Accessories

A tank shut-off valve is required to connect the tank to your reverse osmosis system and regulate the flow of water into and out of the tank.

• For systems with 3/8” OD tubing: use AHVFE6-N2-E

• For systems with 1/4” OD tubing: use ABVFE-44

For optimal performance, maintain a pre-charge of approximately 7 psi. Since most automotive tire gauges are inaccurate at this low pressure, the TPG-917B Tank Pressure Gauge (0–20 psi range)  is ideal for RO tank maintenance.

To ensure water quality, the tank should be sanitized before initial use and at every filter change. The Reverse Osmosis Sanitizing Maintenance Kit (featuring Sani-System, an EPA & NSF certified sanitizer) provides a safe alternative to chlorine bleach and includes a syringe for easy application.
