Reverse Osmosis Tank Maintenance & Accessories

The tank shut-off valve assembly is built using two parts: a 3/4” PVC coupler (830-007) and one of the following male elbow valves:

• For systems with 3/8” OD tubing: use I1410625
• For systems with 1/2” OD tubing: use I1410825

For optimal performance, maintain a pre-charge of approximately 7 psi. Since most automotive tire gauges are inaccurate at this low pressure, the TPG-917B Tank Pressure Gauge (0–20 psi range) is ideal for RO tank maintenance.

To ensure water quality, the tank should be sanitized before initial use and at every filter change. The Reverse Osmosis Sanitizing Maintenance Kit (featuring Sani-System, an EPA & NSF certified sanitizer) provides a safe alternative to chlorine bleach and includes a syringe for easy application.
