Flexcon PH5 Thermal Expansion Tank 2 Gallon

The Flexcon PH5 2 Gallon Thermal Expansion Tank is a portable water expansion tank that has been designed to control safe pressures in a residential heating system. The tank utilizes a backflow valve to safe guard the unit. The Flexcon PH5 tank features a plastic liner and butyl rubber diaphragm to separate the system water from the tanks air pre-charge. To prevent corrosion the Flexcon uses a stainless steel nipple for the systems connection. The external paint not only gives the tank a sharp look, but also helps to prevent external corrosion. Every PH tank is comprehensively tested.

NOTE: Be sure to measure the system water pressure using a water pressure gauge, and make sure that the air pressure in the thermal expansion tank is the same as the system pressure. The thermal expansion tank is pre-charged to 40 psi. Verify the charge of the tank using a tank pressure gauge.
