The FM-5 Faucet Filter is a 2-stage filter. Stage 1 utilizes activated carbon to reduce lead, chlorine taste & odor and bad taste & odor from the water. Stage 2 employs an exclusive fiber bundle for reduction of cysts and turbidity, as well as providing bacteriostatic effects that limit the passage or growth of bacteria that may already exist in the incoming water.
