They combine strength, moderate stiffness, high service temperature, and toughness. The formulations are particularly resistant to repeated impact, have low coefficients of friction and have an excellent resistance to abrasion. They resist fuels, lubricants and many chemicals, but are attacked by phenols, strong acids and oxidizing agents.
